Holiday Giving Opportunities

You are invited to give money for our Global Missions Offering. Our goal is $2,500. Please give above and beyond your regular tithe to help sustain the long-term presence of CBF (Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) field personnel serving around the world.

Your gift will help care for refugees around the world, offer shelter and meals to people who are homeless and hungry, and share the gospel with people who need help.

Drop your Global Missions Offering in the offering plate on Sunday, or send it to the church office.

Stock the Freezer!

Our Love Meals deacon ministry team is looking for a few good cooks! We'd like to stock our church freezer with meals to be delivered to our church members in times of need. Our goal is to have 20 meals in the freezer this month.

If you would be willing to make a meal or two, please call or text Heather Simmons at 919-753-5874.

Additional Giving Opportunities for Hurricane Victims
A portion of your normal tithes and offerings to the general church budget already supports the disaster relief efforts of several of our mission partners including the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Baptists on Mission (formerly known as North Carolina Baptist Men) and Baptist World Aid. However, in light of the intense and widespread needs of victims of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, you are invited to give over and above your normal tithe to help:
The Woodhaven on Mission committee has also dedicated funds to hurricane relief efforts in Houston, Florida and Cuba.

SONshine in the Park
Woodhaven regularly ministers to people in downtown Raleigh who are homeless. The SONshine in the Park ministry was created by a group of friends, including one of our own members, Christine Quante. On the second Sunday of every month, SONshine in the Park serves people in downtown Raleigh a hot, homemade meal -- served with a lot of love.

Bring coats to share with individuals who need the warmth!

Help families in Puerto Rico recover from hurricane disasters.

Drop off items for Puerto Rico Relief by Oct. 8.

Serve breakfast in downtown Raleigh on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Woodhaven youth and parents spent Sunday morning serving friends in downtown Raleigh a hot, homemade breakfast with SONshine in the Park.
