Handbell Choir, the C3 Ringers
The Handbell Choir, called the C3 Ringers, meets on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-5:30 p.m. (September - June) in the Handbell Room of the Music Suite (downstairs under the sanctuary).
This group is open to teens and adults of various musical abilities. Playing handbells is somewhat like a team sport; each player has an important role. Our director, Jim Bob Costilow, makes ringing a little easier by color-coding the music. So, even those with limited music-reading skills can typically learn to play beautifully.
The Handbell Choir plays on occasion in worship and for special services. We also participate in statewide handbell festivals.
