This year, we're exploring what God calls us to do and how we can respond.

Fall Missions

Fall brings new opportunities for missions and service. We hope you will find places to respond to God's call and offer your time, skills and gifts.  "...for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me." (Matthew 25:35-36)

World Hunger Offering

October - November 2016

Millions of Americans lived in food insecure households, including 32.8 million adults and 15.3 million children. Approximately 795 million people in the world are chronically malnourished.

On World Hunger Sunday, Oct. 9, we begin our hunger relief emphasis. At the conclusion of the service, you may pick up your Hunger offering bank. Return it with your offering on Sunday, Nov. 20. If you use a church offering envelope, please designate your gift as "Hunger Offering."

In October, our children and youth will Walk for Hunger around the church parking lot. You can sponsor a child by the lap or with a flat donation. Children will be collecting donations through November.

The two agencies receiving help through our gifts are the Hunger Fund of CBFNC (75%) and the Hunger Emphasis of Baptist World Aid (25%).

State Fair Food Collection
