Wednesday Night Kids' Mix
6:00 - 7:35 p.m.
Music begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Choir Room;
Other activities meet at 6:25 p.m. in the Children's classes downstairs in the Fellowship Hall building
What goes together like peanut butter & jelly? Tom & Jerry? Fall & football (or futbol!)? A BOGO? Sometimes, two things are just better stuck together.
This fall, kids in Kindergarten - 6th grade will stick together for music at 6:00 p.m. and then double the adventure each month:
- Two weeks of the month - Kids will learn what it means to be a Christian. We'll have a class for older kids (grades 3 - 6) and one for younger kids (K - grade 2). Both groups will explore God's word as we learn what it means to be a follower of Christ, what we believe, and what it means for us in the world today. We'll have interactive discussions, hands-on activities and play some games as we learn all about being Christians.
- The other two weeks of the month - Let's do missions! We'll learn about an organization or people whom we can help. Then, we'll do something "real" to help them. Finally, we hope to visit the people or the organization that we learned about and served.
Friends are welcomed! Why not come for dinner, too?
Wednesday nights at Woodhaven are all about families and friends. We serve dinner from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall -- a filling, affordable meal to help busy families relax for a while and get to know others a little better.
