Adult Ministries

At Woodhaven, adults find purpose in Bible study and small groups.

Bible Study

Sunday adult Bible study classes are available from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Classes are organized loosely based on age and life situations. Each group encourages and arranges fellowship connections and opportunities. You are welcome to participate in any of our adult Bible study groups, regardless of age, marital status or circumstance.

All age ranges (including ages of children) are simply suggestions. These suggestions are to help guests and newcomers identify a possible affinity group or a Bible study class whose members are facing similar life challenges. You are invited to visit, discover and join any class that best meets your needs. If none of these meets your needs, let us know; with your help, we will start a new group!

Discipleship and Special Interests

Discipleship and personal growth groups meet on Sunday and Wednesday evenings and other times convenient to participants. We welcome your suggestions about new groups to consider. These include a variety of topics and concerns such as special Bible studies, elder care support, Christian financial management, arts and crafts, quilting and others.

Senior Adults

A vital part of our church family is our active senior adult ministry. Some of our "seasoned" adults are still employed, some retired, and some are home bound.

Woodhaven's senior adult ministry includes:  Bible study, fellowship, evenings out, day trips, extended trips, inter-generational activities and ministry projects. Our seniors teach in Bible study and small groups, serve on church committees and councils or as deacons, and are involved in ushering and preschool child care during worship services.

If you are a "seasoned" adult looking for a new church home and new friends, come try us out!
