Teaching the Bible effectively involves more than an ability to exegete the Bible: good teachers know how to exegete their classes, too. In this class, we'll talk about the Bible, and we'll also take a look at different types of intelligence, different learning styles, different teaching styles and how to develop a lesson plan so that no one in your class will feel left out.
Join us on Wednesday nights as Dr. Tony Cartledge leads a series on teaching the Bible to youth and adults. For current teachers and those who are curious about effective teaching methods and techniques, this class may help you understand the ways you learn, as well.
Dr. Tony Cartledge teaches as Professor of Old Testament at Campbell University Divinity School. A published author of hundreds of articles and five books, Tony also writes a weekly Sunday School curriculum and is Contributing Editor for Baptists Today.
In addition, Tony was Editor/President of the Biblical Recorder and served as pastor at several churches, including 10 years here at Woodhaven Baptist Church.
